Photos from our new studio open house!

I can’t believe it has taken us two months to get these up! It’s amazing just how busy the “off season” can be as we catch up on album designs, vendor photos, ads, new client consults, web site updates, pricing updates, new product samples and pricing, insurance, taxes (ick), etc, etc…there is just so much to do! And tomorrow we leave for WPPI – Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. A GIANT photography conference in Las Vegas! Last year it was all work and no play. Literally. We were all sick and barely left the MGM Grand. This year we are going to sneak in a night out on the town or two! But what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas so you won’t be seeing that here anytime soon. :) We are excited to be traveling with one of our favorite photographer friends the talented miss Von Devore! So if you don’t hear back from us quickly, please don’t fret. We will get back with you as soon as we return!

But back to the studio open house fun! It was a rainy day but we still had nearly 100 people pop in to say hi and enjoy a cocktail with us! And we had plenty of spirits and yummy food for the crowd. We may still have a few bottles left if you want to swing by and hang out sometime. :) Thank you to all of our friends, family, wonderful clients and fellow photographers and wedding vendors for all of your support! We are so excited to be in our new space. And excited to share it with you!

A great big thank you goes out to Lisa at Connie Duglin linens for the beautiful crinkle taffeta tablecloths you see in the photos below! I have color A.D.D. (liz) so we went for a honeysuckle, peach, red, pink blend. And it was perfect! New Pantone color of the year is Tangerine so our 2012 Christmas tree will probably have oranges in it.  I know, you can’t wait right?

Second GIANT thank you goes to Lisa at Belli Fiori for the absolutely gorgeous flowers!

I would be remiss if I didn’t thank our Central West End neighbor Ericka at The Cup for the amazing towers of scrumptious cupcakes. YUM.

And finally our friends at Catering St. Louis for loaning us champagne flutes so that we could give guests a proper greeting upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for more!

And now…I give you, our studio. It looks so empty now in comparison. How far away is Christmas again? :)

We will be back on the blog in about a week…toodles!
