So sometimes life is funny (at other times, like right now, while my basement is flooded and my plumbing is leaking, it is decidedly NOT funny, but I digress) THIS moment was funny… This vintage yellow diamond ring is the same one that St. Louis Bride editor Nancy Slade chose to use for our cover shoot last fall… what a strange coincidence that one of my own clients would end up with this beauty on her finger- Chris, you have impeccable taste, and congrats Rachel!! Not just the same style, but the EXACT SAME RING-so cool! So I have now shot it twice. LOL On with the actual wedding though…
bright pink Jimmy Choos! (Rachel said she has a bit of a “shoe problem”)
transformation
a few quick shots on the way out the door… Rachel told me when I inquired about wedding vendors that she walked into Whole Foods the morning of the wedding and grabbed 2 pretty bunches of flowers and asked them to quickly bundle them into a bouquet… 25$ all said and done! That’s thinking on your feet! LOL
City Cottage on Chouteau is the quaintest little venue… perfect for an intimate event like this.
A bride from NOLA must have her second line!
So fun!
yummy pizzas cooked in the woodfire oven outside (I *may* have tried both…highly recommend!)
and more deliciousness inside! (Just the right time for pattypan squash season)
food, friends, family, and fun
The Funky Butt Brass Band led is in the second line and then stayed for the party!
what a great patio!
Thanks for a fun day!! with love, kate
