Roberta and Corey had a beautiful fall wedding on Corey’s family’s farm in Illinois.  I always LOVE working with families for multiple weddings and this is no exception!  Corey is the brother of a former favorite couple, Amanda and Chris, so I was super excited to get to work with their families and to see old friends again.  The farm might look familiar, as we shot Amanda and Chris’s “love the dress” there as well!  (see HERE  – and yes, that riding arena with all the dust flying is the very same location for the reception in this wedding–crazy!!)  Anyway– enough reminiscing Kate!!

anyone who knows me, you know that I LOVE it when a big, tough man is also a total softie at heart.  Let the love flow freely, I say!!

I adore this arbor built by Becky Klein at Poppies Design Studio.  Another connection — Amanda, the groom’s sister, also works there as part of Becky’s awesome team!

So… this is what happens when you mess with the groom.  You end up doubled over turning beet red after a surprise attack.  :)  HA!!
