I sometimes feel like I live in a time warp. Editing a wedding takes me a long time (“long” is relative – I know). Because of the hours of work given to each of my couples, my turn around time slowly gets a little longer as the year goes on. So now, in February, I’m wrapping up November! But at the same time I’m looking back at November 2016, I’m looking forward as far as October 2018. Talking to couples about when the fall leaves will look their best and what time sunset is a year and a half from now. If you think you have a tough time remembering what year to write on your checks I feel you! But it’s all so fun. All of it. All of the planning leading up to and all of the beautifying of my finished shots after. It is especially fun when I get to work with families like these. This is my second Singer wedding and I couldn’t be more flattered to be invited back to capture this family filled with strong, confident, successful, kind and caring women! And they couldn’t have made it to where they are in life without their awesome dad of course (didn’t want you to feel left out!) And Ari is just the sweetest. He was so excited all day that it literally made me laugh out loud a few times. In a good way of course! Enjoy this beautiful November wedding day at the Four Seasons with the beautiful and talented Simcha Lourie!
Starting with the gorgeous and classic invite from M. Haley Design.
Putting the finishing touches on lovely Ruth.
Just a little mother daughter moment.
I only have brothers, but I think that if I had sisters this is the relationship I would have wanted.
One in which they would be willing to pick stuff out of my teeth for me of course. ;)
Such a sweet smile!
Holding back the tears. Unsuccessfully I might add.
Off to visit Ari for a few! Ari literally could not stop smiling all day long. He couldn’t stand still either. He was literally brimming over with excitement!
Private first look…
Gorgeous day for some rooftop photos!
The ladies all picked their own navy dresses. No restrictions. Love it!
Omg. Hilarious.
And just after sunset…
Ketubah time! Sometimes this tradition feels like a formality they “have” to do, and other times it is a very touching ceremony. This one fell into the touching category.
Let’s do this!
Gorgeous birch and willow chuppah created by Tina Barrera The Special Event Florist.
I mean he’s so cute it almost looks like he’s faking it. I promise he is not. :)
Love the double arches on either end of the aisle!
Mazel tov!
A little ballroom gorgeousness. Flowers everywhere!
Well written toasts all around. And I am an expert toast judge at this point in my career. Bravo all of you!
Hora faces are the best!
Congratulations you guys! So flattered to have been there for your wedding day. Thank you a million times over for having me! With love, Liz
