Oh Sam and Matt…you guys will forever be emblazoned in my brain as the “best vows of all time” couple. I’ve shot HUNDREDS of weddings so that is a pretty serious title to hold. I’m so glad you two found each other and have decided to hold onto each other for the rest of your lives. I’m pretty sure that being a part of your wedding day gave many of your friends and family that extra little dose of warm and fuzzy that we all needed to get through the end of this year to beat the negativity and the cold out there in the world. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it too! And without further adieu…I give you a beautiful day in late September to warm your bones on this chilly afternoon!
The bouquets by Flowers and Weeds were out of this world gorgeous.
As was Sam!
The many faces of Sam’s best friend Eilene! I promised her I’d try to get her new profile pic sometime throughout the day. I think she has plenty to choose from. ;)
Sam’s mom Becky looking flawless.
Love the illusion lace on the top of Sam’s gown.
Sam had her dress embroidered with the name of her late father so that he could be there with her.
Special moment when it all becomes real.
This is very Mona Lisa-esque…you look like you have a secret and it’s a good one!
Everyone obviously agreed that Sam looked Ah-mazing!
That said, Matt (aka Clark Kent) was looking pretty dapper himself.
Making sure the vows are tucked away and we’re off!
First look…
I was jealous that my videographer friend Macy could actually hear what they said to each other…it nearly had her in tears.
The whole gang!
One quick willow tree stop on our way to the Jewel Box. They are my fave.
This one still makes me snort when I see it! Matt your face is awesome.
The tears started pretty much immediately for all of us.
There were a few laughs too.
Time to celebrate!
By dancing down the aisle.
Off to Greenbriar Hills Country Club!
Funny story – Sam was totally going to change her name and then decided not to change her name. But this photo of the original plan will live on forever. ;)
Taking advantage of the last little bit of light…
More dancing! Let’s just say there was LOTS of dancing.
I mean this is before they even sat down for dinner!
All of the touching toasts made it pretty obvious how awesome these two really are.
This group was ready to party!
Even grandma got in on the dance floor action!
Congratulations you guys! Totally honored to have been a part of your wedding day. Here’s to dancing through life! With love, liz
