I had one of my favorite engagement sessions last year with these two so I knew the wedding day was going to be awesome. However they were barely recognizable. I think that together they were down about 50 pounds since we last saw each other…looking good you two! Not that you didn’t for our first round. Just extra super good now. ;) After a fun first look on the terrace, the rain continued to hold off just long enough for us to get a few photos outside. It actually started to sprinkle as we were headed back to the limo bus. Perfect timing! Let’s dig right in shall we?!
Crochet Toms are a perfect comfy back up to the pretty yellow pumps.
Embarrassing side story tangent: I purchased a new wedding shooting shirt (yes, I buy shirts just for this purpose!) and this was my first time wearing it. The Four Seasons suites have a good deal of natural light coming in which is awesome for getting ready photos! Just about the time I have these shoes sitting perfectly perched on the glass table in front of a large mirror, I get a glance at myself in said mirror. My mouth drops open and I gasp…my shirt is NOT opaque! I can see my bra and even my belly button! This is something I had not noticed in the dim light getting ready all morning. So NOT appropriate wedding day attire! In a panic I call my husband Steve in and my hero swings by with a black tank top so that I don’t look like a hooker all day. And that my friends, is what this pretty little shoe photo reminds me of. Ahhhh…wedding day memories. ;)
Gorgeous shiny rings. I never tire of taking ring shots.
I’m guessing from the signature Genovese box that Stephanie’s bling is much nicer than most of the bling I own.
Flawless!
Striking a pose showing off the glamorous look.
Gown! One of my favorite times of every wedding day.
So pretty Steph.
Off to take a few photos of Jon looking handsome in his polka dot suspenders.
Check out these chevron bow ties on this fun group of guys!
Reading a letter from Stephanie…
First look on the terrace…Stephanie teased Jon for a while before he was allowed to turn around.
Hi everyone watching from the doorway!
Off to the park!
Love.
I have no idea what is happening here whatsoever. I have completely lost control at this point. I think they were rolling up pants to show me their socks and then started golfing?!
Check out the giant yellow peony in the bridesmaid bouquet! I have never seen yellow before. So pretty!
A little simple, city fun to contrast the pretty park setting.
Gorgeous room. I love the way in the round ceremony rooms photograph.
Circling.
The new Dr and Mrs!
Pinspotted yellow flower balls are elegant yet whimsical.
Let the party begin!
Love this one.
Such an awesome day! Thank you both for being so fun to work with! With love, Liz
