So much gorgeousness from this pretty blush wedding at Westwood Country Club! By steamy St. Louis standards, this summer has been downright pleasant! That being said, things heated up to something resembling the surface of Mars for a short bit and one of those days just so happened to be Stephanie and Michael’s wedding day. So rather than torture guests, they decided to move the ceremony inside and it was not less in any way. No less beautiful or emotional…absolutely perfect. I could feel the love oozing from the tight knit families and life long friends. I mean people literally seemed to be exploding with hugs and smiles. The wedding party – I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for staying cheerful and upbeat for our photos despite the heat! I believe it was worth it. You all looked stunning! But none more so than Stephanie and Michael. Take a look-see!
This is a perfect example of what I mean when I say “exploding with hugs and smiles.”
So pretty! I stood on a bunch of chairs all day. These two are TALL! I am not. :)
Cheers to lots of fun to come!
Tina you outdid yourself. The flowers were splendid!
Meanwhile on the other side of Westwood Country Club, Meredith was hanging with Michael and the guys for some finishing touches.
Brothers. Can you tell?!
Awww…dad.
Ok, all ready. Time for the first look!
:)
Since Stephanie and Michael were having a traditional Jewish ceremony, they had written private vows to read to each other just after their first look. This is the first time I have ever seen this and I loved every moment of it. They wrote words just meant for each other. Meredith and I shot with long lenses and tried to keep our distance to give them some privacy, but I really wanted to hear!
After wiping away a few tears it was time to do some portraits!
Lovely ladies!
Meredith got this shot from the side and it is one of my very, very favorites. Thanks Mer!
Noogie. Brothers. ;)
Love!
Perfection Stephanie!
Ketubah signing. Small room filled with love.
I just LOVE the flowers and ribbons hanging from the chandeliers! My guess is that’s a good way to make a large impact without a huge expense.
Married!
Pretty room! Love the little watermelon heart salad.
Let the dancing and toasting begin!
Cheers!
Custom beer tasting with a bunch of Stephanie and Michael’s favorite beers.
If you ever thought a little rain would spoil your wedding day, think again. :) Thanks playing in the rain with me you two!
Thank you both so much for sharing your wedding day with Meredith and I! You have surrounded yourselves with a wonderful village of people who love you and you love in return. Thank you for being so fun to work with! We were honored to be a part of it. With love, Liz and Meredith
