The kiddos growing oh-so fast + moving to a new home = time for updated family photos!
Playing at home photo sessions are my favorite to take for families. Not only do you get great snuggles and laughs to look back on, but one day you’re going to have so much fun remembering and chatting about what your home looked like. (Kids of the 70’s – blue carpet in your home photos anyone?) I’ve definitely learned about myself as a photographer, that I shoot for the “future need” of the photo, not the present. So, although the parents are footing the bill, I shoot for the kids ;) And I’m so happy when Mom & Dad get in the photos too, as although most of us adults do not like having our photos taken – the kids will LOVE having them.
Quick snuggle with Grandma since she was hanging out for the day …
(I wish I had this photo with my own Grandma! I’m seriously jealous of this photo.)
Stella’s room. Oh my. I could have shot in here all day. This looks totally “staged” but I swear it’s not. This is for real her adorable, sweet bedroom and toys.
The multi-colored fingernails make me happy.
Once the tea party was winding down, it was time to play dinosaurs, monkeys & cops.
(Growing up with 4 brothers myself, I actually know way more about dinosaurs, monkeys & cops, than tea parties ;) Ha. Good stuff).
Hey, big bro. Read me that book.
(And, swooooon to this photo below. I hope my son & daughter stay this sweet to each other).
Sweet, sweet family. Thanks for letting me come play!
