Last fall Kate and I took a drive out west into the countryside to visit an awesome new wedding and event venue from our friends at Catering St. Louis: Three Barn Farm! One thing is for sure, when it comes to Catering St. Louis, nothing is ever done “ordinary” or just good enough. They always take their spaces, service and food to the next level. Which is why we love working with them throughout the year!

Aptly named, Three Barn Farm has three barns. Yes, Captain Obvious, I know. :) The main barn is the Dairy Barn, originally constructed in 1914. It features a beautiful ceiling and a birdcage chandelier with a few delicate crystals to perfectly mix textures and offset the rustic barn feel. Since seeing it in person, my mind has been reeling trying to figure out a reason to throw an event in there. The tone and design is perfect! Outside of the barn is a fire pit with blankets and Adirondack chairs for guests to gather ’round on a chilly evening. The second barn is the Horse Barn and is the perfect size for a small picnic or dinner party. For a wedding day it could easily be used for signature drinks, dessert tables or hors d’ oeuvres. Finally, the House Barn has been designed with the perfect mix of quirkiness and down home comfort. It has a full kitchen, living room with fireplace and a couple of bedrooms.

We can’t wait for our first event out at Three Barn Farm in Clarksville, MO! We wanted to share a few photographs to give you a feel for the space, but nothing beats seeing it in person. So put on some sunglasses, roll down the windows, throw on some tunes, and take a nice, relaxing afternoon drive out to Clarksville to look around if you have the chance!
