Calling all fashion lovers…we have something super fun happening THIS FRIDAY (8/15)! St. Louis’ own fashion blogger Kate Allen is taking over our Instagram for the day! Follow along with us (@lphotographie) to see a day in the life of this fashion expert and check out the hottest trends. We’ve asked her to focus on style for our awesome High School Seniors, but even if you’re not in high school you can still get some great fashion advice.

About Kate

Kate is a local fashion & style blogger who lives in University City with her husband, Deni. A former shoe designer, Kate is currently a pharmaceutical sales rep by day (hey, gotta pay for all that shopping!) & fashion junkie by night. When Kate isn’t playing dress up in her closet, styling commercial photography shoots, shopping or blogging, she can be found doing Bikram Yoga, traveling, or zipping around town with Deni in their vintage convertible.

In January of 2009, she created Joy & Cake (www.joyandcake.com) as a place to keep track of all of the beautiful things she loved (and let’s be honest…wanted to buy!). Since then she has posted daily “joys” and is always searching for the best deal (the icing on the cake!). Joy & Cake has been nominated for multiple St. Louis Fashion Blog Awards. And a little fun fact, the amazing designer Rebecca Minkoff chose Kate to dress for her show at this past St. Louis Fashion Week! (We’re just a little jealous)
