Welcome to the L Photographie fall 2012 wedding flashback blog series! In all seriousness, our clients come first over here. So when we got behind at the end of last year, we decided to take a blog hiatus so that all of the hours we were working were 100% dedicated to delivering our couples their wedding images as soon as possible. Now that our lives are just about back on track, it’s time to share some of the loveliness!
Tori and Craig were married in September in the trail of tropical storm Isaac. If you were in St. louis around that time you probably remember the in and out sun and rain that continued across the sky. Which meant we just had to work in our little rain free pockets when we had them! It worked out wonderfully. Tori is a good friend of mine from back in the ad world days, and I was so happy to be a part of her and Craig’s day. They are a perfect fit for each other in so many ways.
The ceremony took place at Concordia Lutheran in Kirkwood followed by a beautiful reception at Old Hickory Golf Club in St. Peters. Their little vintage touches from Worn Vintage Rentals added a sweet touch to the space. But most importantly, everyone had a wonderful time celebrating with them. Enjoy!
Love the intricate antique style of Tori’s ring.
Concordia Lutheran Church’s pretty red doors with monogram wreaths.
Tori kept telling us all not to make her cry. It didn’t work very well. But it also made her laugh. Ahhhh…wedding day emotions. Love them!
Craig looking all dapper.
Everyone else got dressed…bride’s turn!
Final moments before the ceremony…a little last minute dress fluffing and dad practicing with the blusher.
Here comes the bride!
Married! Happily ever after.
Doggie Luna was so excited to see them and gave them a few congratulatory licks!
Tori’s dad has a pretty cool classic Chevy they used as a getaway car. Not a bad hook up if I do say so myself!
A few fun photos with the wedding party before heading into Old Hickory!
Bouquets by Elegance in Bloom. Love the textures! Silver Brunia berries are one of my personal faves.
Love this one of Tori spinning in her gown.
And off to the party! The classic Wedgewood style cake design was a perfect fit with the antique rentals.
Comfy shoes to encourage more people to boogie!
I love the way Tori is looking at Craig in this shot during toasts.
Let the dancing begin!
Congratulations you two! I know that you will have so many wonderful years together. Thank you so much for letting me be part of the beginning. With love, liz
