Happy New Year everyone! I don’t think I’m quite ready to reflect on 2017 yet…still have a few more weddings to edit before it’s time to truly shift our focus to 2018. Tori and Josh were awesome. Tori is a total sweetheart and Josh is a total goofball. They balance each other quite nicely! And if you average them together you get a normal size human! :) No but seriously Tori is about my height (aka height challenged) and Josh is a tall drink of water so that can make portraits a little bit challenging. Tack on some pretty steady rain and it becomes even MORE challenging. But we were up for it, they were up for it, their wedding party were all troopers and we got some awesome stuff for them! Luckily the rain subsided and allowed guests to enjoy a nice cocktail hour out in the garden of the Ninth Street Abbey while the main room was being set for the reception. It also meant we got to use the garden for a few pretty photos. Love all of the historic character at the Abbey!
Roses & Mint (their florist) brought me a few fin little flowers to use for the details and invite…so sweet!
A rare balancing act…
So beautiful Tori!
Those socks though…
The personalities of Josh.
Cheers!
Aww…
Off to play in the rain!
Gorgeous colors against the lush green rainy landscape.
All smiles despite the water walling from the sky!
Josh made sure that Tori was well protected by the elements and sacrificed his arm. We love you both for getting out in this!
Off to Soulard for a few more…
Love.
Final stop of the day – the Ninth Street Abbey in Historic Soulard!
The garden there is gorgeous and looks even better with these two in it.
Let’s get married…
Beautiful naked cake from the Blue Owl Bakery.
Party time!
The toasts were all STELLAR.
This guy created a video that I will never forget. Hilarious.
Congrats you two! With love, Liz + Mer
