After my first workshop I challenged the group to go home and use their cameras on full manual mode around their homes – indoors and out. And now we’re having a friendly little contest over on facebook between the lucky 7 who decided to enter.

Here were the rules: Cameras on full manual mode. Using only natural light. Shot indoors or outdoors at their home. NO editing afterwards. Not even a crop. All images are straight out of camera. One photo submitted per person.

I must say, I am quite proud of the images that came in! These are all great shots! My workshop attendees did an awesome job. I loved hearing the stories about their practice throughout the month. These families are going to benefit from lots of beautiful images these parents are going to take over the years. I love that. Warm fuzzies.
