A & A got married in a three day whirlwind of love, laughter, family and friends out in the fresh air at the gorgeous Overlook Farms.  The henna party kicked off the weekend… the intricate designs that these artists can accomplish so quickly is truly amazing to watch!! Below are the bride’s stunning hands… note the peacock!

The Sangeet was a stunning array of colors and sparkling lights, with warm words and loving tributes from family and friends alike, which culminated in an Indian dance party!

The wedding day was set for a double ceremony… and so we begin at the beginning, of course!

wedding outfit number one!  So fun to watch all of the brightly colored saris getting tied and cinched…

The ceremony was held under an enormous tent filled with flowers and a beautiful mundap hung with bright flowers

The bride and groom are to attempt to “capture” each other with these floral leis while their families fend off the other; hilarity ensues.

About halfway through the ceremony, the bride is presented with a wedding sari, and re-emerges in this gorgeous red, with her sisters at her side.

These funny  & bossy little barn cats were fairly insistent on being involved in the day

The smell of lavender flowers wafted in the breeze as guests found their names on this unique hanging  escort card display.
