Ashley + Austin wedding {by liz}

I know I’m going to have a captive audience on this one. After all, the Cardinals are practically a religion in St. Louis. Opening day is basically an unspoken holiday (most employers turn a blind eye to the empty rows of cubicles and corner offices) and downtown St. Louis is a sea of red on any home game day. Now, imagine this, you’ve just gotten engaged, and you’re talking ceremony and reception locations, and someone says “How about Busch Stadium?!” I mean for real. And then imagine how excited your guests are going to be. And your wedding party getting to walk on the FIELD. You get to stand on home plate as you read your vows. Your guests are all sitting in those coveted green seats behind home plate. All of it sounds like a dream right?! Well for Ashley and Austin it was a dream come true and I have the photos to prove it! But before we get ahead of ourselves let’s start with a few getting ready photos…

The girls wore gold sequin dresses so I borrowed one for a few shots because, well, SPARKLES! And I have only had cowboy boots at a handful of weddings ever. Love it.

Ashley doing her Beyonce thing with a team of people working on her from all sides. Anyone else out there wish they could have a team of people work on them every single morning so that they could sip on their coffee and take a nap sitting up while getting beautified with absolutely no effort whatsoever? A girl can dream.
