A little change of pace today, as I have this awesome senior gent to share with you! Always nice to mix things up a little – don’t get me wrong, I am definitely a girly-girl and I LOVE spending the afternoon with my senior ladies shooting and feeling glamorous for their photo session, but the guys need their turn too! Drew was so nice to shoot with, very laid back and easy-going in front of the camera. No muss, no fuss :)

So when I was chatting with Drew’s mom to plan his session and where we would go, she mentioned he loved hiking and the outdoors, and wanted to wear something from the brand Patagonia (funny enough, I hadn’t heard of Patagonia but after this shoot I keep seeing it everywhere!). The waterfall in Forest Park seemed like a good choice, since it actually is a hike to get up!

I remember saying “ok we’re done!” and all starting to head back to the car, and then the sun came through the trees so nicely. So we had to stop and get one more shot…I tend to do that ;) When the light is good gotta go with it!
