I’m having a blog happy kind of day over here! Truthfully, I’m leaving town at the end of the week and trying to squeeze in as much work as possible before I go. Vacations are TOUGH. They are so wonderful, but the pre (aka prep) and post (aka catch up) work is kind of brutal. In the end though, SO worth it! That being said, so excited to share this one! Erin and Tim were married in August at the Shrine and St. Joesph followed by a reception at the always wonderful Chase Park Plaza. These two? So easy going and fun! You will see it all over their faces. And the navy and pink color scheme is a personal fave! Let’s dig right in to the good stuff…aka the shiny thing that lives on Erin’s finger. :)
Mmmm…letterpress. I am a sucker for textures and quality paper. Steve says I’m a paper snob. I think that it just means I know what I like!
Another thing I like…can’t go wrong with Mr. Choo.
Gorgeous Erin!
I have had more brides with sparkly eyes this year which includes Erin! Honestly, I’m unsure what causes it. It could be the shape of the eye, how wet they are…I don’t know but they are beautiful and inviting. Sparkly eyes just make someone look immediately fun and interesting. Sadly, I do not have sparkly eyes. I guess I will have to prove that I can be fun and interesting the hard way. ;)
Checking in with handsome groom Tim and the rest of the guys.
Fun socks!
Calling Erin to invite her to the roof for their first look.
I love this face!
I did not tell them to do this. They just ARE this cute.
Off to Wash U for a few fun wedding party photos!
Beautiful bouquets by August Garden.
I’ve been to Wash U for wedding party photos quite a few times, but never really used it like this. Mixing it up a little! Thanks for braving the thorns you two!
Love laughter. Smiles look good on everyone.
Off to the church to get married!
The ceiling in the Shrine of St. Joseph always reminds me of the Vatican. They have a hallway that looks similar and it is amazing.
Married!
They made a special donation to the church and will have their own little plaque there forever and ever.
Cakery Bakery cake in the Starlight Room at the Chase Park Plaza. With twinkle lights. Every photo is better with twinkle lights in the background. I stand by this statement.
Best rooftop for cocktail hour. Hands down.
Just the right time of night for a cool blue sky.
I never get sick of photographing toasts. So many emotions and I get to hide off to the side and watch them develop.
Thank you for being so awesome to work with! It was a really fun day! With love, Liz
