So this was a little tough to narrow down. We were all just talking in the studio about how we seem to suck at that lately! I mean, I know my clients don’t need 5 photos of their rings, but they are really pretty rings. I also know they won’t do anything with that series of funny face photos, but they are just too amusing to not include! It’s a sickness our love of photos. Jen and Brad are both crazy smiley and fun, the colors on their wedding day were bright and cheery, parents laughed and cried, the light at the Botanical Gardens was gorgeous…the list goes on and on. Hence, large blog post…let’s do this. :)
Starting with getting ready at the Ritz and Jen’s amazingly gorgeous lace gown from my good friends over at Simply Elegant Bridal.
And fun shiny flats with removable bows that I then used for a few other things.
Like this sparkly ring shot.
And the invitations. I just love shiny things so much! They make me explode with joy from the inside out. It’s kind of weird and wonderful all at once.
Jen getting extra glam!
Laughs and smiles all day.
See?!
Love.
True perfection.
Everyone ooo-ed and awww-ed as Jen entered the room. Rightfully so!
Meanwhile across town Meredith was hanging with Brad and the guys. Also full of smiles!
That is one talented best man. I don’t do boutonnieres. I made my prom date bleed. True story.
Apparently Brad is a pretty talented pianist!
First look at MOBOT. And MORE smiles. This whole smile thing is getting old. Hee!
These two: so cute and playful together.
Just a bunch of handsome med hanging in the shrubs. ;)
Pretty ladies!
The light pouring through Jen’s veil here was so lovely.
Fun bright pink petticoat!
The light and the colors…just two of the reasons I ended up with WAY too many photos from this lovely day.
Fave.
Ceremony time in the Japanese Garden.
Love Jen’s mom’s reaction to the new Mr and Mrs.
Woo hoo!
Pretty sunset waterfall shot was a must.
Why can’t it be sunset all day long? I need to schedule a quick conference call with Mother Nature and see if we can work this out.
Off to party at Monsanto Hall!
Jen’s maid of honor was Emily Lucarz who is an amazing photographer here in St. Louis. She took these absolutely adorable photos of Jen and Brad’s pups to use as table numbers!
Sweet candy bar. See what I did there?! Yes, dork, I know.
Time to dance!
Toasts are predictably almost always one of my favorite things to shoot all day.
See why?!
These two are awesome together! The wedding was just a few days before their 25th wedding anniversary, so they shared a special dance.
Boogie!
Congratulations to you both! It was SUCH a perfect day. So glad that rain came and went the night before and left us with a perfect wedding day! With love, liz
