It may be 5:30 on a Friday but I told Joann I would get this up by the end of the week and I am a gal of my word! And just downright determined. And maybe a little obstinate at times. It’s one of my finer qualities I picked up from my father along the way. ;) It took way longer than it should have for me to narrow down the photos for this blog post! I do feel like this beautiful wedding is the perfect way to wrap up the week and head into the weekend. Rain or shine (and lately more rain than shine) Joann and Tyler were 100% in on enjoying their wedding day. I think you’ll see what I mean! Let’s start with this GORGEOUS, amazing, crazy shiny ring. I mean seriously.
And then let’s follow it up with all of Joann’s other insanely pretty things.
Including these lovely ladies!
And meanwhile across the hotel…Tyler finishes up a few final things…
And gets a pretty cool watch from Joann.
Back to the ladies all pretty in pink!
Joann you’re up next.
SO PRETTY! I love the classic hair and the simplicity of just the earring with the shiny belt on the dress. It was the perfect combination.
Tyler’s card made everyone’s eyes a little watery.
Awww…his and hers watches!
And we are off to one of the most architecturally stunning churches in all of St. Louis – St. Francis Xavier known lovingly locally as the College Church.
Guess who is coming down the aisle?
Awe inspiring. Rivals so many of the churches I saw in Italy.
Meet Mr. and Mrs. Tesson!
The rain began to fall just after we took these photos outside of the church. The wedding party was kind enough to brave a few VERY QUICK shots in a very light drizzle. Thanks everyone! I like this little secret garden feel.
And then the rain really started to come down so it was time to get these two under an umbrella. A really cute bubble umbrella. ;)
I’m including this random shot just because it makes me happy. I have such amazing clients. Look at these guys: walking in the rain, smiling, toting around a giant dress, the guy in the back even has a bottle of champagne in hand…but not one of them looks stressed out, anxious, concerned, disappointed, angry, etc. Take that rain!
Lucky for us we had reserved the library for a shoot, so while it continued to rain and the wedding party continued to party on the bus, we took a few awesome shots under cover.
I think this one where they are cracking up is my favorite.
And off to our final stop…the Four Seasons St. Louis!
The cocktail hour treatment made me wish I was a guest.
How cute are these two?
Let’s dig on on this pretty room shall we?! Pretty little menus from Two Blue Doors under clear glass chargers are certainly a nice touch.
The gorgeous flower arrangements designed by one of our faves Tina Barerra the Special Event Florist!
The Four Seasons Ballroom looking classically beautiful.
Let’s celebrate!
The rain let up for a few quick shots on the terrace.
Thank you guys so much for allowing Meredith and I to be a part of your wedding day! Loved that you just rolled with the weather and kept smiling through the rain. Cheers to many years of happiness! With love, Liz + Mer
