Katie and Eric Becker were married at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton St. Louis and so that is where we spent the day from beginning to end…no crazy locations, no sweating, no trolley or bus maps to make… it almost felt like cheating to stay in the same place all day! It forced us to get creative, and we had fun romping around the hotel trying out new spots. Katie, as you will see, is a big ol’ softie and she’s pretty crazy about Eric, so the emotions were flowing all day. I love love when I get to capture real emotion on film (er…memory cards?!) As has become custom here at L…on with the shiny things!
these shoes are lovely, though I’m told, not entirely comfortable…
handmade tags for the dress & suit (you’ll see that one later)
love these personalized hangers!
all of the girls in Katie's family have carried this little book and sixpence on their wedding days going back many years
and finally, all the little things put together on Katie- Gorgeous!
now usually I don't have man details... but Eric had personalized cufflinks and had a monogrammed tag sewn into his ensemble as well!
time for the first look!
I think it's safe to say they like what they see.
Katie, your eyes look crazy cool in this one!!
I found one teensy little spot on the grounds (we may or may not be in the landscaping of the parking median here) where shot from this exact angle, it looked like we were in a park!
who doesn't love finding champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in their room?!?
I love Eric's face when he saw Katie coming down the aisle
and....MARRIED!
cute little chair details!
now that's how you end a first dance!
a special song for Katie and Eric by her uncle, and the crowd goes wild!
this is what being married is all about folks...better than 50 years together and still slow dancing with forehead kisses. yep, awesome.
a gourmet popcorn station opened up for a late night snack, and each guest left with a personalized bottle of wine
couldn't resist these night time shots on the way out!
Thank you Katie and Eric for a beautiful day, and for being so sweet and easy to work with, it was a pleasure.
