Lauren and Reggie and a fun and unique couple who love to travel. In fact, I have seen a few of their honeymoon pics and it involves LEMURS. That’s right. How much cooler can anything be?! But the honeymoon isn’t the point here… the wedding is! There were so many fun cute things at this wedding there was no way to include them all in the blog, so this is by no means comprehensive of all the cute-ness… but you will get the general idea! LOL We are going to kick this one off with ‘man details’ at the iconic Cheshire Inn, right here in St. Louis.
how cute are these wine openers that also served as the save the dates? (the Ferragamos are pretty nice too!) LOL
apparently Reggie loves to fish, so the blue marlin bowties were a must.
the James Bond suite, of course.
NOW to the shiny things! (and Lauren, of course!)
In this next series you can pretty much tell how much fun Lauren and her Mom have together.
the beautiful bride
Reggie, you look nervous, my friend. :)
But not for long… as soon as these two saw each other, it was all smiles.
LOVE this one. It’s the nose crinkle.
silly boys
We managed to snap a few portraits out in the open before the rain started… forcing us under cover and also changing the ceremony from the Grand Basin to the shelter of the World’s Fair Pavilion.
veil wind!
some cute, cute kids
A surprise gift for the groom… a champagne saber! FUN!
pretty, mossy centerpieces
Every guest got a monogrammed wine glass with a personal note to take home as their favor, and also their place card! (including me, which works out, because I’m a Hayes too… so the H is perfect!)
another surprise marlin appearance!
The wine for the night was a special treat… a red from a small italian maker that Lauren and Reggie loved on their trip to Italy (where they got engaged!)
pretty stationary… Lauren’s mom did the design work for the super cute trolley ticket
a full on cake smash
does Reggie have icing in his ear? probably.
a bright streak of sun came across the dance floor during the first dance, providing some super dramatic lighting
dance party! (with cute monogrammed wayfarer sunglasses for everyone!)
photo booth fun
The lovely World’s Fair Pavilion at night
Thanks so much for letting me capture your day and for being good sports despite rain, clouds, ceremony location moves, extreme StL humidity, and all! (and for the yummy yummy cake and wine!) with love, kate
