You know how some people you meet and just instantly click with? Like you can see yourself hanging out with them at a backyard BBQ having a beer? That’s these two! Their dog Gus even got me my very own locket. Wasn’t that thoughtful of him?! Meredith and I had a great time with Talisha and Lee who are just genuinely good people surrounded by more genuinely good people who care about them, which makes our jobs awesome. Cheesy as hell I know, but I don’t give up my weekends with my friends and family so that I can take pretty photos of shoes. I do it because I love capturing laughs, tears and the palpable feeling of being surrounded by love. I never know exactly when it is going to happen, but I still get teary eyed at some point on most wedding days. But those moments, those are what make me feel like what I do truly matters and how I want to leave my mark on this world. And this day was full of them!
Ok, too serious! Sometimes I get all emotional. I’ll try to keep it in check. ;) Let’s start off with all of the pretty things (and girls!) hanging out in the hotel room.
Eventually I am going to break down and buy myself one of these pretty little floral robes. So cute!
Gorgeous floral design by one of my favorite people – Lisa at Belli Fiori!
Everyone huddled around the bride making sure that everything about her is perfectly pristine…always one of my favorites.
Gorgeous Talisha!
Gift from Lee…
She couldn’t read much of the card without tearing up and since she had JUST finished her makeup we cut the card reading thing a wee bit short.
And over to Meredith who was just a few floors away hanging with Lee and the guys.
Silly Lee. Love it!
Time for the first look! We seem to be having more and more first looks as the years go by. I love them!
And we’re off to Central Library for a few fun wedding party photos! Which was crazy convenient because they were married across the street at Christ Church Cathedral. And did I mention it was smack dab in the middle of Pridefest?! We were able to park in the private church lot and walk across the street – perfect plan!
Love the champagne and blush light and airy color pallet.
Fun group of guys!
You know how someone in your group of friends is always the one who gets picked on because they take it well and are really funny about it? Yep, that’s Lee!
So cute together. All smiles.
I could shoot at the library every day. The architecture is amazing.
Time to cross the street to the chapel. Let’s get these two married!
Woo hoo! Time to party!
Pretty blush sequin tablecloths on specialty tables.
And sparkly table numbers!
Love how Meredith used the reflection of the cafe lights to make this look polka dot. So cool!
Cute guestbook quilt idea.
Love this!
Breakin’ it down from the very beginning! This is a good sign for things to come.
Yes, she did smear it on his face. Poor Lee. ;)
Awww…
Par-tay!
I forget the flavors but few pieces needed to be cleaned up off of the tablecloth for this shot and they just kind of hopped into my mouth! Scrumptious.
Loved being a part of your day! I’m glad we still get to hang out for a bit while we wrap up your album and stuff. I think you should bring Gus – it’s been too long. ;) Congratulations you two! With love, Liz + Meredith
