In an effort to keep from boring everyone out there looking through our blogs, I’m trying to start keeping my intros short and sweet (said the wordiest person EVER!) The phrase “a photo is worth a thousand words” has been thrown around for decades yet I still feel like I need to explain all of them! Don’t worry, I will still share plenty of behind the scenes little tid bits and stories. Can’t leave out the good stuff! One of my main goals as a photographer is to stop time…to capture a look, a moment, exactly as it was. And to hopefully bring back the memories associated with it for years to come. Plenty of fun was had on this gorgeous wedding day with Lindsey, Mike and their families! Let’s get right to it. :)
The girls got ready at this cute salon that is in a renovated historic home in South County called Heritage Salon. I had never been but loved it! Highly recommend!
After hair and makeup we were all off to St. Pius Catholic church on South Grand in south city.
Love. SO much.
Meanwhile across town Meredith was capturing Mike and the guys getting spiffy.
Looking good!
Mike is a hoot. More on that shortly. ;)
Letter exchange just a few minutes prior to the ceremony.
And here we go! #teary
Gorgeous St. Pius. My first time shooting a wedding here in my 14 year career!

It’s official!
And we are off to the park to meet up with their pup! I think this little guy was less than a year old and was THE MOST well behaved puppy of all time! Hell, mine are practically senior dogs now and they come no where near sitting this well.
Mmmm…yummy boutonniere. Ha!
This did not go as planned. Which makes it even better!
And off to the beautiful reception at the Clayton Plaza Hotel!

Love.
Packed dance floor thanks to my awesome friend Jimmy Hussey!
These two lovebirds were busy winning the anniversary dance honoring the couple at the wedding married the longest.
Mike’s dance moves are KILLER!
And it was simply wonderful to see these two again! I shot Peggy and John’s wedding back in November of 2014! Since then they have had TWINS ! They tell me they don’t get out much. ;)
So flattered to have been part of this awesome day! With love, Liz + Mer
