This wasn’t THAT long ago! Which is crazy because look at the header photo and how bright, warm, sunny and green…and now that same spot just down the street from our studio is covered in a thick fluffy layer of snow. I have an obvious built in affinity for Liz and Steve as they are my husband Steve and my namesakes! All I could think going in is that I hoped this Liz and Steve had as awesome of a wedding day as my husband and I did. I’m not really how you compare these things seeing as emotions aren’t really measurable, but it sure felt like a spectacular day. Congrats to you both!
I am in LOVE with this stationary set! Honestly I wouldn’t have guessed it but the lavender is great with this rich brown velvet background. Unexpectedly great color combo!
The detail on Liz’s gown was exquisite.
I know it’s a little out of focus but the wood insert in Steve’s ring is super cool!
Flowers and Weeds outdid themselves on this bouquet. Loving all of that texture!
Aww. These are my moments. This is why I do this.
Perfection!
Meredith was busy so my good friend and amazing photographer Erica Robnett filled her shoes hanging with Steve and the guys. She said all day that Steve reminded her of Nathan Fillian (from the show Castle). Anyone else? Steve is the goofball to Liz’s more serious and thoughtful demeanor. They balance each other well!
Air piano perhaps?
I think he’s smitten. :)
We took a few fun shots in the gorgeous Central West End before heading off to join the wedding party.
See? Goofballs.
I’ve never photographed a whole wedding party in this spot before, but I will definitely do it again! It helps to have levels when you have a large group.
All of that pretty, warm sunlight.
It’s time for the main event…
And we’re off to the beautiful and historic Visitor’s Center Trolley Room in Forest Park!
Does this give you a preview of the party to follow lol?!
This is always a MUST take photo for the Dayton alums!
Congratulations twinsies! I with you tons of happiness for many, many years! With love, Liz
