Oh, this little sweetie…
I loved so much about this session. What I loved the most, was witnessing how completely smitten these parents are! It was an absolute joy to photograph, and to just even watch. I’m so honored when families trust me to capture a part of their life – to take photos that I know will be looked at and enjoyed for many years after, even passed down to the next generation. (it sounds so cliche as a photographer, but it’s true). And even though it’s typically Mom that is hiring me – my heart, and my passion, is shooting for the little one being an adult in mind. And when this little one grows old, and sees how COMPLETELY SMITTEN her parents are, her heart will fill with love. I don’t get sappy often, (like hardly ever), unless it’s thoughts like these.
What’s that famous quote/saying – “If you don’t think photos are important, wait until they are all you have left.” … Gasp. That thought gets me every time. (sappy).
