I LOVE this couple! Some of you may have seen my instagram from their wedding day…at some point Sarah put a note my camera bag telling me that I rock. (I’m not claiming that as true or false but I appreciate the sentiment!) I still have no idea how she got that in there. Sneaky and sweet little bugger that one! Sarah is so full of joy…her eyes sparkle and her smile is contagious. Dennis is the more serious one, but certainly not lacking in emotion. Which made them SO FUN to photograph on their wedding day! The people that wear their emotions in a place that I can see them through the lens make my job super crazy rewarding.
Side story: A while back we did the cover and fashion editorial shoot for Saint Louis Bride Magazine. Simcha, Kate and I went to local bridal boutiques and actually tried on some gowns to see what they truly looked like on human forms before we chose them for the feature. I tried on Sarah’s dress and seriously, if I were to get married again (vow renewal?!), THIS would be my dress! I was so excited when I walked in and saw it! For the record, it looked a gazillion times better on Sarah…it was made for her. A perfect dress for a perfect day! Get ready to fall in love with this post… :)
Those horsehair ruffles!
AND these shoes…for real. The perfect shade of pink meets nude.
Fun pajamas instead of robes! But still button up so as not to mess up perfect hair.
Love , love, love mother daughter moments.
See? Sparkle.
Here comes the bride!
Dennis was not to be outdone in the groom detail department…
The wedding day gift exchange is one thing, but the card…the card is my favorite.
Looking good – let’s do this!
All smiles. All day long.
My fave shot from the day!
This cool acrylic chuppah is a brand new item from Table Ten Events. So fun and modern!
Mazel tov!
I know it’s tough to imagine given our recent heat wave, but it was a beautiful evening for cocktail hour on the terrace.
Loving the fun champagne place cards. I think place cards should always come attached to bubbly cocktails for all future events.
The tablecloth for the challah was embroidered with all of Sarah’s family members names and new names have been added for generations as children are born and spouses are added. One of the best family traditions I have encountered.
Desserts galore! A yummy little glitter bite may have popped into my mouth after the photo. Oopsie!
Crazy awesome dance party thanks to Griffin and the Gargoyles!
Such a fun day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of it! With love, Liz
