If you’ve been to our blog before, then you may have noticed that shoot a pretty decent number of giant, extravagant, huge ballroom, over the top weddings and we love them all! However, sometimes a couple like Molly and Jake come around and pull us out into nature, well, “fancy nature”. I mean a top-notch winery is certainly still quite a bit fancier than even glamping lol! It’s also more intimate…less guests makes everyone there feel like they are part of a close-knit, extra special, chosen family. Molly made a few different decisions that we LOVED. Her mom was her matron of honor and the grandmothers were the flower girls. How perfect is that?! And her relationship with her dad, as you will soon see, is nothing short of tear-worthy. Jake and the guys got ready at the absolute cutest bed and breakfast in Washington Missouri, Brick Rose Beds & Donuts. You may see a future post where all of the L Photographie girls rent the place out and throw ourselves a crazy party! They guys were in great spirits and consumed some too…starting off the day with a Jager Bomb is legit! The weather messed with us a couple of times…two kinda nutty storms came through, but in the end we still were able to enjoy the outdoors for the most important parts of the day. Enjoy!
The girls got ready at Molly’s parent’s house. Her mom’s garden was INSANE. Her plants looked amazing. We basically gre our garden for the bunnies and squirrels. Little rascals. It’s a good thing they are so cute.
Fur baby love!
Smooshy face.
I know I called the guys out on the pre-wedding cocktails, but the girls had their priorities straight too! Molly’s mom even reminded them to get roadies and not to leave behind the extra little airplane bottles of Titos lol.
Off to Chander Hill! Hanging out with pops before it’s time to get dressed.
A little pre-wedding dance practice…
Dress time.
Perfection in a room full of smiles!
First look with dad made everyone in the room cry. Maybe even me. ;)
Meanwhile across town…
The formal folding of the pocket squares lol.
The guys were all a little extra super!
Cheers! Let’s do this!
First look in the vineyard.
I love that the one guy close to the left is sorority-squatting. Perfection!
The light was perfect for wedding party photos and the recent rain made the landscape greener than ever.
Love.
Ceremony time!
Love this behind the scene shot by Mer and Molly and her dad prepare to walk down the aisle.
“Walking” down the aisle didn’t work out so well lol.
Gorgeous views.
All of the tears and all of the laughter. My favorite moments!
Mmmm…mini fruit pies. I’ve been trying to cut back on my sugar intake but these little guys were irresistible!
Awww…this may be my favorite form the whole day.
As the sun set and some more clouds rolled through, we all headed outside for the dance party!
Such an amazing day you two! Thank you so much for allowing us to share it with you! With love, Liz + Mer
