Every year I get to work on the Illinois side of the river just once or twice! Which is crazy to me because it is incredibly close, but I always enjoy it because it is new and different. This time I met up with Morgan and Tyler in their home town of Red Bud, Illinois for a laid back engagement session starting at Lae-Nae winery and then out to the home of a family friend. LOVE the fact that the sky is black on one side while the sun is out on the other when we hit the corn field. Such a rare occurrence and never actually happens when I’m shooting! Feels a little Wizard of Oz-ish. Add that to a cute tire swing and a barn with an old car and I was in photographer heaven. Enjoy!
