Now that’s a rehearsal dinner {by liz}

Kara and Jason (who had an adorable wedding you see will on the blog soon!) decided to do their rehearsal dinner at one of their favorite places: The Pin Up Bowl on Delmar! No stuffiness here! Jeans and shorts attire was 100% appropriate and the meal consisted of multiple Pointersaurus Pizzas (28″ in diameter and weighing in at TEN POUNDS each.) And the guests loved every second of it. Bowling, beer, shots and pizza. Kind of makes me want to stop editing and head out there right now. :)

It was fun to see everyone totally laid-back in their weekend threads and then see them the next day all gussied up, hair perfectly coifed and ties perfectly knotted for a fancy affair at the Four Seasons. Quite the juxtaposition! So I thought I would share a few of these fun rehearsal pics before the big day. Enjoy!

It was the Pin Up Bowl so I had to. I realize that a bowling ball photo is quite predictable, but they are so pretty and colorful. It’s so hard to look away.

A few fun pics of Kara and Jason before the party really kicked into full gear!

I love this one in front of the old school lockers. I mean, I know they aren’t actual school lockers. Just “old school.” You know?! Right – totally unnecessarily confusing. I’ve been really cooped up this week so I’ve been talking to myself more than usual. But I digress…

Shot time! Is that smart the night before the wedding you may ask? Well, put together I’m guessing these Wash U grads have enough brain power to run a nuclear power plant for a couple of days so I’m assuming they know what they are doing. Total assumption on my part.

Bottoms up!

And up…and up…you can do it Kara! It always takes me longer to finish shots than other people too. It takes 3 or 4 gulps for me. I’ve never quite mastered it. Must practice more.

Ok, I know I’m going to get in trouble for this but I can’t resist. I was walking around, doing my paparazzi thing, catching people in the moment, enjoying themselves, and then I got caught. So I made the most of it! Shot 1: “I saw that.” Shot 2: “Wait don’t do it again I’m not ready!” Shot 3: “I’m just going to stand here and smile just incase you do it again.” Ha!

Time for some bowling.

What a bowling alley looks like when viewed by a goldfish. Hanging out in his fishbowl. Let’s call him Hank.

Ok, I just really like this one. No reason really. Cool reflections and selective lighting.

Now that is trust. These two are going to make it I tell ya!

Hank took another photo for me.

The lovely ladies of the wedding party! I believe all recently engaged perhaps?!

Look for their beautiful wedding planned by St. Louis Wedding Consultants at the Four Seasons up here next week!
