After our June 3 “shoot the kids” photo workshop, I once again challenged the group to go home and use their cameras on full manual mode – indoors and out. We’re having a friendly little contest over on facebook between the ones who were brave enough to enter.

Here were the rules: Cameras on full manual mode. Using only natural light. Shot indoors or outdoors. NO editing afterwards. Not even a crop. All images are straight out of camera. One photo submitted per person.

And I am quite proud of the images that came in! These are all great shots, and amazingly in focus for chasing around kids and dogs while practicing! My workshop attendees did an awesome job. These families are going to benefit from lots of beautiful images that get taken over the years. I love knowing that.

So, here is how to GO VOTE for your favorite photo. Head over to the L Photographie facebook page to “like” the photo and “like” L Photographie. Only “likes” that also “like” L Photographie will count. VOTING ENDS MONDAY JULY 16 at midnight. Winner announced on Tuesday July 17. The winner will receive a free family photo session by Kristie Cromie. ($200 value).
