I LOVE this wedding in so many ways. The flowers, the cake, the color and the traditions. I love Stephanie’s gown and her Julia Roberts smile. I love Gayan, his crazy faces and how in love with Stephanie he is. It was just a really great day! Besides a few rain drops (which I feel like this year has been a given), but they just didn’t matter because nothing could wipe the smiles off of these faces. Enjoy!
Starting with the GORGEOUS Kenneth Poole gown and lots of fun shiny things!
Mama hug.
Finishing touches on Julia, um I mean Stephanie’s makeup. :) By the way this is also when I learned about the best lipstick ever. It is a Chanel lip stain and it is fabulous. She told me it wouldn’t come off and I told her I was going to test it by having her continually kiss Gayan during the photos. It didn’t go anywhere! And Gayan didn’t seem to mind. I now own it in 3 colors.
CUTE robes and pretty ladies!
The gown was the perfect silhouette on Stephanie. Teeny tiny waist!
And onto the boys…captured by my good friend and GREAT photographer Von DeVore!
Not sure what’s happening here…silly boys.
Smiles all around!
First look…
The last weekend of the cherry blossoms! Pretty ladies.
Love these two together. I didn’t have to do anything to get them to interact, smile and laugh. It was natural!
Gorgeous bouquets by Sisters Flowers.
And back to the Renaissance Grand for the ceremony and reception! The table decor served double as aisle decor and was then moved to the tables as the room was flipped and prepped for dinner.
The golden rooster! I would explain but I just don’t know. :)
Here comes the bride! It was a REALLY good thing those aisle candles were not lit. Wedding gowns are not generally flame retardant.
I really think this room looks like a wedding cake. Love it.
Married!
What is this weird thing on my finger?
Cakery Bakery cake! Wow that’s a whole lot of tiers. I’m not sure I’ve seen seven tiers in real life until now.
Tuxedo grooms cake. Yum.
Lighting the golden rooster.
A few impressive performances.
It took Gayan’s brother a wee bit to get his breath back after this!
Laughs and smiles…all night long.
Congratulations Gayan and Stephanie! Thank you for sharing your smiles with me. With love, Liz
