Tim and Dolma Fogerty have done it… they have stayed married. For 50 years. As a wedding photographer, I always get to see the beginnings of fresh new marriages, so it was so beautiful to get to witness the vow renewal of a couple who has stayed happy and in love for 50 years! This is what it’s all about, folks! If you want to have a really swanky and fun 50th anniversary party, the best thing you can do is have an event planner as a granddaughter. Katie Fogerty of Envy Events planned a beautiful vow renewal ceremony for her grandparents at the beautiful home of her parents that included a mass and a dinner menu themed around the lives of Tim and Dolma. Everything from the linens to the flowers to the table settings added to the golden glow of the party… well, you’ll see what I mean…
SURPRISE!
the stained glass in the house almost makes it feel like a real chapel!
chair garlands for the guests of honor
wedding photos of the couple displayed along side the table were a cute touch
love the lacy paper and candle place cards
the same beautiful lace detail on the menus
yum!
a cute family photo of the party thrower with her family (that’s Katie on the left!)

Tim and Dolma,
WOW! 50 years of wedded bliss – you two do NOT look that old!! Seriously, congratulations! The pictures were amazing. Katie took incredible care and created what looked like a fabulous evening for all of the Fogerty clan. And having actually partied with this group, there is no doubt that you all had a memorable evening, with lots of laughs.
We are so happy for you. You must be so proud of your example and, of course, your family as well. Now we have one more thing to celebrate at our Florida re-union – yeah!! Can’t wait!
Sending our very best wishes and lots of love, Jo & Larry
No way, you two! You look way too young to have been married 50 years. At least that helps me figure out how old I was at your very fun wedding. I was 5 and remember it still.
Congratulations on your special day. And thank you for being such a steadfast and positive presence in our lives.
Love Ted and Maggie
Tim and Dolma,
What a glorious tribute to your marriage and love for one another. I remember your wedding like it was yesterday. I had never seen anything like it, especially the champagne fountain! And, you are still a beautiful bride and Tim a handsome groom. Thank you for all the joy your love has reflected on so many.
Love, Patty
PS. See you in Naples!
